Update: So the contest is over. Thank you everyone for your support, votes and comments. I'm a bit sad they've erased the comments, but Chicago's page is still up. He got a total of 10,576 votes and 10 comments. The winners will be in the newspaper on May 17th. I'll keep you all updated.

Explanation:
Our local newspaper is running a cat photo contest entitled "That Darn Cat" and I've entered Chicago's April Fool's photo.
The contest will run until May 13th. At the end of the contest, there will be 10 winners. The cat with the most votes and the cat chosen by the judges will receive a $100 gift card. These two cats and eight others, the 4 next top vote getters and 4 choses by the judges will be get their photos printed in the newspaper.
Because anyone can vote 10 times a minute (once you've registered), some cats reached the 1,000 vote mark on the first day. As much as I have free time, I don't have *that* much free time and everyone I know has less free time than I do. Realistically, getting Chicago into the top 5 vote getters is not going to happen.
He is simply going to have to capture the hearts of the judges. I'm sure that he can, but first, he must stand out from the hundreds of other cats. The best line of attack (well, the only line of attack at this point): COMMENTS!
I would like to ask everyone to leave a comment on his entry. Help him get into the newspaper!
While $100 would be great (and pay for about a third of Chicago's semi-annual blood test), I really just want to see Chicago's beautiful face in the newspaper (and maybe get a few more blog readers along the way).
